Corvus albus - Pied Crow - Corbeau pie
Three birds were on radio masts near the Esso petrol station 360km south of Laayoune, on 13 December 2009 (Chris Batty et al.). First claimed record of this species for Morocco.

The MRBC

The Moroccan Rare Birds Committee (MRBC), or Commission d'Homologation Marocaine (CHM), was formed in 1995. It currenly consists of 12 members:

It aims to gather data on rare or little known birds in Morocco, and thus to increase current knowledge of the Moroccan avifauna.

The list of species considered by MRBC includes true vagrants (i.e. species with fewer than 30 records), and rare or little-known species whose current status is inadequately known.
